พระราชบัญญัติ 30:11-20 / Deuteronomy 30:11-20 
คำตักเตือนว่าจงเลือกชีวิตหรือความตาย
30:11 เพราะว่าพระบัญญัติซึ่งข้าพเจ้าบัญชาท่านในวันนี้ ไม่ได้ปิดบังไว้จากท่าน และไม่ห่างเหินเกินไปด้วย

Solemn Warning; Life or Death
30:11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.

30:12 มิใช่พระบัญญัตินั้นอยู่บนสวรรค์แล้วท่านจะกล่าวว่า ‘ใครจะแทนเราขึ้นไปบนสวรรค์และนำมาให้เรา และกระทำให้เราได้ฟังและประพฤติตาม’

30:12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

30:13 มิใช่อยู่พ้นทะเล ซึ่งท่านจะกล่าวว่า ‘ใครจะข้ามทะเลไปแทนเราและนำมาให้เรา และกระทำให้เราได้ฟังและประพฤติตาม’

30:13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

30:14 แต่ถ้อยคำนั้นอยู่ใกล้ท่านทั้งหลายมาก อยู่ในปากของท่าน และอยู่ในใจของท่าน ฉะนั้นท่านจึงกระทำตามได้

30:14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

30:15 จงดูเถิด ในวันนี้ข้าพเจ้าได้วางชีวิตและสิ่งดี ความตายและสิ่งร้ายไว้ต่อหน้าท่าน

30:15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

30:16 คือในการที่ข้าพเจ้าได้บัญชาท่านในวันนี้ ให้รักพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่าน ให้ดำเนินในพระมรรคาทั้งหลายของพระองค์ และให้รักษาพระบัญญัติและกฎเกณฑ์และคำตัดสินของพระองค์ แล้วท่านจะมีชีวิตอยู่และทวีมากขึ้น และพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านจะอำนวยพระพรแก่ท่านในแผ่นดินซึ่งท่านเข้าไปยึดครองนั้น

30:16 In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

30:17 แต่ถ้าใจของท่านหันเหไป และท่านมิได้ฟัง แต่ถูกลวงให้ไปนมัสการพระอื่นและปรนนิบัติพระนั้น

30:17 But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;

30:18 ข้าพเจ้าขอประกาศแก่ท่านทั้งหลายในวันนี้ว่า ท่านทั้งหลายจะพินาศเป็นแน่ ท่านจะไม่มีชีวิตอยู่นานในแผ่นดินซึ่งท่านกำลังจะยกข้ามแม่น้ำจอร์แดนเข้าไปยึดครองนั้น

30:18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.

30:19 ข้าพเจ้าขออัญเชิญสวรรค์และโลกให้เป็นพยานต่อท่านในวันนี้ว่า ข้าพเจ้าตั้งชีวิตและความตาย พระพรและคำสาปแช่งไว้ต่อหน้าท่าน เพราะฉะนั้นท่านจงเลือกเอาข้างชีวิตเพื่อท่านและเชื้อสายของท่านจะได้มีชีวิตอยู่

30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

30:20 ด้วยมีความรักต่อพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่าน เชื่อฟังพระสุรเสียงของพระองค์ และติดสนิทอยู่กับพระองค์ เพราะพระองค์ทรงเป็นชีวิตและความยืนนานของท่าน เพื่อท่านจะได้อยู่ในแผ่นดินซึ่งพระเยโฮวาห์ปฏิญาณแก่บรรพบุรุษของท่าน คือแก่อับราฮัม แก่อิสอัค และแก่ยาโคบ ว่าจะประทานแก่ท่านเหล่านั้น”

30:20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
